Run For Unity: Rajnath Singh inaugurates marathon from New Delhi; here’s how people participated in the run

On the occasion of the 143rd birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, PM Modi will inaugurate the world’s tallest statue of unity as a tribute to the ‘Iron Man of India’ in Gujarat. Also, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has inaugurated the Run for Unity marathons at the Major Dhyanchand Stadium in New Delhi.

However, people across the country are participating in the event. Even many renowned sportspersons have joined the run, including the former boxing champion Marry Kom and gymnast Dipa Karmakar.

As per the reports, at least 2000 participants from Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) and National Service Scheme (NSS) will also participate in the Run for Unity in New Delhi.
