Rajasthan: Man burnt alive in car accident

A man was charred to death after an oil tanker rammed into his car near Jodhpur district’s Sointara village on December 1.

The deceased has been identified as Hadmat Singh (24), a resident of Sointara village.

The tragic incident happened at around 8 pm near Moti Ji Ki Pyau when Hadmat Singh was returning to Sointara from Pihar after dropping off his wife. The car immediately caught fire after the collision. Singh did not get a chance to get out of the car and got trapped in it. He was caught in flames and burnt alive.

The tanker driver fled after the accident. The police have seized the tanker, and a search is on to nab the accused driver.
