Congress's General secretary for eastern UP, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in an interview to leading media revealed that it was party's "Collective Leadership" took the decision. She told that the decision was taken by the collective leadership to not to field her from Varanasi against PM Modi.

Priyanka further said in an interview, "I have a major responsibility here. Many candidates want me to campaign for them in their constituencies, and I cannot disappoint them."

While responding to PM Modi's in-political interview to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, she said, "I found the prime minster's interview rather strange. At a time when the youth lack employment opportunities, the farmers are distressed and women are facing several problems, ways of eating a mango are being discussed."

Not just that, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also predicted that Lok Sabha polls are totally in favour of Congress party. She said that BJP has fallen behind and it will suffer a lot of damage. This time the Congress party will be ahead.

Let us tell you that a few days back Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar did an exclusive interview to PM Modi, in which he discussed his aspirations during childhood, relations with Opposition leaders and his working style. Many Congress leaders stated that the interview was actually a promotional agenda and not was just an 'non-political interview'.
