The BJP and its allies have decided to move a privilege motion against Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann, who has been drawing flak for live-streaming a video which reveals several security spots of the Parliament.

Mann has, however, defended his actions, and has clarified that his intention was not to malign the Parliament's image or put its security at risk.

"I did not play with the security. I never wanted to put the security at risk. I have not done anything that harms security. DD, Lok Sabha everything comes live. My intention was not to malign the image of Parliament. Everyone should get a chance to speak. The Speaker has called me and I will go there," Mann told ANI here.

"I am going to Parliament in Zero Hour today. I want to raise the issue of farmers' suicide," he added.

Hitting out at Mann, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said this shows how much knowledge Mann has of the Constitution

Meanwhile, the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) is set to move a privilege motion in the Lok Sabha against Bhagwant Mann for uploading a video on social media that showed the Parliament premises and internal security positions.

However, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has taken cognizance of the video and said it is being investigated.

The speaker will seek a report from Parliament security on the matter and Mann will be summoned if required.
