Further disruption in Parliament seems likely as the Congress leadership has decided to stick to its aggressive stance against the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Today, a group of leaders launched an attack on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and questioned her in the Rajya Sabha on the revival of talks with Pakistan.
Swaraj was making a statement in the Upper House of the Parliament on her two-day visit to Pakistan and the recent developments relating to bilateral ties.
Breaking the logjam in their ties, India and Pakistan had on 9 December announced in Islamabad that they have decided to engage in a 'comprehensive' dialogue that will include peace and security and Jammu and Kashmir.

- Congress also protested in Rajya Sabha over law and order situation in Punjab, and demanded dismissal of state government.
- Condemn incidents in Punjab,state government will bring culprits to book,but why raise state issues in the Rajya Sabha, asked Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
- We raised the issue of Mumbai 26/11 attacks probe and asked Pakistan to expedite the trial process, said EAM Sushma Swaraj.
- Swaraj also stated that India is committed to peaceful relations with Pakistan.
- Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 12 noon.
