NTPC explosion: 4 laborers died, many injured as boiler explodes at Unchahar plant in Raebareli

In a horrifying incident took place in NTPC's Unchahar plant in Raebareli exploded, four people have been reportedly dead and many injured, said police.

Uttar Pradesh Police ADG (Law and Order) Anand Kumar told media that four people lost their lives and had died in the explosion and the current toll is expected to rise.


Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who was away from Mauritius on a three-day official visit ordered that the necessary steps should be taken.

“The chief minister has taken cognisance of the Unchahar accident and has directed principal secretary (home) to ensure that all steps are taken for rescue and relief,” principal secretary (information) Awanish Awasthi, who is accompanying Adityanath said.
