Not just Mangalore, these 5 videos prove moral policing is a countrywide menace

A Muslim man was stripped, tied to an electric pole and beaten at a crowded market place allegedly by rightwing Hindu activists in Mangalore in Karnataka. The brazenness of the brutal assault apart, the reason that incited it even more bizarre.

The reason cited was that the man was talking to a Hindu girl. Apparently, even the girl was humiliated when she tried to intervene.

But this is not just Mangalore's problem. Incidents of 'moral policing' can be seen almost everywhere in India.
