Patna: During the State-level Independence Day celebration at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, an incident unfolded as a man with the same name as Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tried to breach a high-security area.

The event marked the 77th Independence Day and was attended by various dignitaries, including the Chief Minister himself.

Apprehension and Poster Display
The individual, identified as Nitish Kumar, aged 26, and hailing from Munger district in Bihar, aimed to enter the secure zone while holding a poster. The security personnel stationed at the venue swiftly apprehended him as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was delivering his speech.

Grievance and Demands
He was advocating for a job opportunity on compassionate grounds due to the demise of his father. His father had been associated with the Bihar Military Police and had lost his life while on election duty back in 1996.

Vocal Protest and Outcome
Before being taken into custody by security personnel, the man made his voice heard through slogans and vocal protests. Chandrashekhar Singh, the District Magistrate of Patna, confirmed the individual's background and objectives. Nitish Kumar's plea for a compassionate appointment was conveyed to the police headquarters for consideration.

Response from Authorities
The Chief Minister, having been made aware of the situation, ordered a comprehensive review of the man's grievances. It was emphasized that a fair assessment would be conducted in line with established regulations to ensure justice. The District Magistrate also conveyed that actions would be taken according to the rules governing such cases.
