Nipah Virus: Alert! This life taking rare virus transferred from Kerala to Karnataka; death toll rises to 11

Nipah virus in Kerela has created the scary situation not only in the state but also in another part of the country. The death due to this virus has created the panic situation. The virus alert is not only in Kerala but also in another nearby states as well. Recently, two people in Karnataka also suspected to be infected with this life taking virus, said, officials. However, this brain-damaging virus has already taken the life of at least 11 people in Kerala, including the nurse, who was taking the care of affected patients.

The symptoms of this deadly virus found in the two persons, one is a 20-year-old woman while the other is a 75-year-old man in Mangalore. They infected after returning from the neighbouring Kerala where they had come in contact with the infected patients, said Rajesh BV, a health official in Karnataka on Wednesday.


According to the reports of NDTV, the doctor said that the two patients yet not confirmed with infection of the virus, therefore, there is no need to panic. He also added that the situation is under control.

The patients' treatment already under process and their blood samples already have been sent for screening and result likely to be announced today.

Nipah virus has been spread due to the fruit of the bats. The saliva that bats leaves are very dangerous which causes flu-like symptoms and also causes brain damage.

After the deaths of humans due to this virus, now, panic spread in Himachal Pradesh’s Nahan district also when 18 dead bats have been found in the government school. Bats are the main reason behind the Nipah virus.
