Narendra Modi Birthday: Here is how PM Modi will celebrate his 69th birthday tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to visit the Sardar Sarovar Dam and offer prayers on his 69th birth anniversary, said Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Saturday.

Following a gracious monsoon, the Sadar Sarovar Dam (SSD) is close to reaching its teeming mark. PM Modi who will celebrate his birthday tomorrow (17th September), has welcomed the Gujarat government’s invite to attend the Namani Devi Narmada Mahotav, siad Rupani.


The Mahotsav is being organised throughout the state to hint filling up of the Dam to its full amplitude.

"He (PM Modi) will visit the Narmada Dam (located in Gujarat's Narmada district) on September 17 and will offer prayers. People of Gujarat are very happy that the dam is close to its full capacity. We are happy that Modi is coming to Gujarat on his birthday," Mr Rupani said.

The mega event will be celebrated throughout the state with over 5,000 events, said Vijay Rupani.

The water level in the dam went pass the 138 metre mark, just 68 centimeters less of it maximum capacity, an official stated.
