Munna Bhai MBBS style cheating: Man arrested for posing as proxy in RSMSSB Forest Guard Recruitment exam

In a plot straight out of the Bollywood flick Munnabhai MBBS, a man was arrested while giving the RSMSSB Forest Guard Recruitment exam 2022 on behalf of a candidate in Bharatpur on November 12. Police have recovered a bluetooth earplug, a mobile phone, and other devices from the accused.

The accused, identified as Bhanuprakash Sharma, is a resident of Balwapur village in Aligarh district, UP. He was giving the recruitment exam impersonating Ramjeet, who was originally supposed to sit for the exam. Ramjeet is a resident of Khoh Village in Deeg Tehsil, Bharatpur.

When Bhanuprakash was giving the examination at the exam centre -Baba Luxman Das Govt School, exam invigilators found his actions suspicious. After being pressed, the accused admitted to giving an exam while posing as Hariom.

Police have registered a case under the relevant sections and further investigation into the matter is underway.

With this recruitment exam, the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board aims to fill a total of 1,128 vacancies, out of which 1,047 are for Forest Guard and 87 for the post of Forester. The selection will be done on the basis of written exam and physical test.
