Who said that IAS officers don’t fall in love? We have a live example of IAS toppers of 2015 batch, a 24-year-old Tina Dabi and the second topper from Kashmir Athar Aamir Khan, who fall in love and made a beautiful couple. On Saturday, both the toppers tied in the nuptial knot in south Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

However, only family members and close friends witnessed their wedding ceremony at Pahalgam club. Later on Sunday, the groom’s family hosted the reception in his hometown i.e. Anantnag’s Mattan.

Tina had arrived with her parents and relatives in the Kashmir valley’s town Pahalgam on Friday. After their wedding ceremony, all the guests and the newly married couple drove to Devepora Mattan, which is Khan’s ancestral village in South Kashmir’s Anantnag.

Talking about the IAS lovebirds, Tina belongs from Delhi while Aamir Khan is from Jammu and Kashmir. The couple fell in love when the two had reportedly met at the department of personnel and training office in Delhi for the felicitation function on 11 May 2015. However, many people went against their love relationship and termed it as ‘love-jihad’.

Well, they have kept all the negativity at the side and decided to tie in a knot of love forever.

Check out some pictures and video of their wedding ceremony:
