The campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 are going on in full swing and the recent rally of Congress President Rahul Gandhi and party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Uttar Pradesh saw a shocking incident when a woman died during the road show that took place in Lakhimpur Kheri of the state. The road show even had the presence of the Congress general secretary of Dhaurahra Lok Sabha seat.

The road show saw the support of Congress candidate Jitin Prasad. The roads got blocked that lead to a traffic jam that even had an ambulance stuck in it. The female patient, Ramkali, who happen to be a resident of Dehara Ajitpur was returning to her village with her daughter during which she got a heart attack. The relatives arrived at the spot and called the ambulance but as soon as they reached Mohammadi, they got stuck in the jam due to Gandhi's road show.

The ambulance stood there with the sirens blowing but no help was provided resulting which the woman died as soon as the jam ended. The family claimed that her life could have been saved if the ambulance reached the hospital on time or if they would have been given some help but nothing of that sort happened. This has now resulted in a challenge in front of the administration.

This is not the first time that any such case has happened because previously during various political programs too, several similar incidents have taken place in the past. It gets difficult for the traffic police administration to meet the pressures and also to control the number of vehicles that participate in the electrol rallies during elections.
