Kashmir seems to be on the boil yet again. The region is observing a complete shutdown as a result of separatists' call on 30 December.
All shops and other business establishments are closed, and public transport is off the roads.
A few days back, the joint leadership of separatists had issued both relaxation and shutdown order for 15 days, under which Fridays and Saturdays would be observed as shutdowns.
The joint separatist leadership has also called for protests after Friday prayers against the state government's order to issue domicile certificates to West Pakistan refugees.
