Karnataka Election 2018: BJP-Congress gives tickets to 80 candidates facing criminal cases including 'blue movie' viewers in the Parliament House
In the 2018 Karnataka assembly elections, about 100 candidates of Congress, Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Janata Dal (Secular) JD(S) all three major parties have again got tickets despite facing criminal trials. According to an estimate, about 2,655 candidates are contesting for 224 assembly seats in Karnataka, the number of candidates facing criminal charges is approximately 340. Which means 13% of the total candidates are 'tainted candidates'. Where, Congress is making an issue of 2 + 1 = two Reddy and one Yeddy means Yeddyurappa's slogan to corruption in the state. At the same time, BJP is constantly accusing the Congress leader Siddaramaiah's cabinet. Well, the leaders who watched blue movies in the Parliament House and leaders indulged in Illegal mining have also given the ticket.
Candidates facing criminal case: BJP 30, Congress 48 and JD (S) 17 candidates
According to the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), an election watchdog and Election Commission, BJP has given tickets to candidates 30, Congress 48 and JD (S) has 17 candidates contesting in this election were facing criminal cases in the Karnataka elections in 2013.
Ticket to blue movies watcher in the House and illegal miners:
- BJP re-elected two former ministers Laxman Sawaadi and CC Patil, who were found watching pornographic clips on mobile in the assembly.
-Congress is directly accusing the BJP's chief minister candidate BS Yeddyurappa for corruption. Congress is aiming at Bellary mining businessman Reddy brothers and four people associated with them over the saffron party giving tickets to them.
