[Just In] 50-year-old Delhi cop arrested for raping woman at gunpoint

An assistant-sub inspector in Delhi Police, Javeer Singh has been sent to 14-day judicial custody, on 11 July, for raping a 23 year old woman. The 50-year-old cop was posted at Punjabi Bagh police station of West Delhi.
The incident happened on the night of 9 July. The victim in her statement alleged that she was raped at gunpoint and that the cop was under the influence of alcohol. Medical reports confirmed rape.
CCTV camera had captured the entire incident and the police is verifying the footage.
