J&K: Soldier martyred, 3 terrorists shot dead in encounter in Pulwama; operation continues
At least three terrorists have been gunned down by the security forces in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday morning.
A jawan has been martyred in the gunfight that broke out in Dalipora area in the wee hours. Curfew has been imposed in Pulwama.

According to reports, Central Reserve Police Force, Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group troops were conducting a search-and-cordon operation following information about the presence of some terrorists in the area, a police officer said.
During the search, the terrorists opened fire at them, leading to encounter. Two more soldiers and a civilian were injured. The two terrorists are holed up in a house, news agency ANI reported.
The operation is going on and the internet has been shut in the area.
