One terrorist was reportedly killed in an encounter between security personnel and suspected militants in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir on 22 September.
An operation is still underway. The encounter comes just days after 18 soldiers were killed in an attack in Uri.

The Uri attack has been condemned across the globe. A high-level meeting, attended by PM Narendra Modi decided to isolate Pakistan after the attack.
