Shocker! Man rapes woman’s corpse before dumping body

In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly killed by a shopkeeper inside his shop in Nalasopara in Palghar district of Maharashtra.

After killing the woman, the man sexually assaulted the dead body of the woman before dumping her.

The incident took place over a week ago when a 32-year-old woman had gone to the shop to buy toys. However, an argument broke out between the woman and the shopkeeper.

The accused man has been identified as Shiva Chaudhari, a resident of Nalasopara.

According to reports in Mumbai Mirror, the man told police that the woman got into an argument with him when she came to his shop to buy toys, which led to a scuffle, and then he killed her.

After murdering the woman, he had sex with her corpse. He then, wrapped the body and dumped it in a pick-up van. However, the body of the woman was recovered two days later.

According to the police, the woman left her home in the morning to buy vegetables on June 26, but she didn’t return. After searching her everywhere, the woman’s husband approached the police and lodged a missing complaint.

On June 28, the police received information that foul smell is emanating from a plastic bag kept in the duct of a jeep parked at Chandan Naka.

Police rushed to the spot and found a woman’s body with her throat slit. The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem.

The police identified the body of the complainant’s wife. It appeared that someone had killed her by slitting her throat and had dumped her body in a parked jeep. In postmortem reports, it was revealed that the killer sexually assaulted her, police said.

A case of murder and rape was registered by the Tulinj police. Also, the manhunt was started in the case.

Police identified the suspect as Shiva Chaudhari.

During the interrogation, the man confessed having committed the crime and also told police that he raped her after slitting her throat and dumped her body wrapping it in a gunny bag.
