Hyderabad: Unable to bear childhood friend's death, man commits suicide

A young man in Hyderabad, committed suicide after his childhood friend died in a road accident in front of him, on Tuesday, the police said on 28 September.

The accident occurred near Moosapet in Kukatpally when the two friends were on a mototrbike.

G Harikrishna, a software engineer, died on the spot when a truck hit the two-wheeler while K Ramesh, who was riding the bike, survived the accident. Unable to bear the shocking incident, Ramesh went to a nearby area, Bharat Nagar, and committed suicide.

Ramesh's body was found on a railway track. Police said he apparently jumped in front of a train to end his life.

The youth - both in their twenties - are from Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh and had been living together in a hostel in Kukatpally.
