Hyderabad Encounter: Nirbhaya mother says, 'sense of fear will grip criminals now'

The shocking news from Hyderabad came to light that the police have encountered the all for accuse in veterinarian rape and murder case. The encounter took place on National Highway 44 during the wee hours this Friday morning. Police brought the four accused at the crime scene for recreation where they raped and burned Disha’s body.

The accused tried to escape from the police custody and as per reports one of the accused snatched police's gun, however, they were killed in police firing.


As soon as the encounter news broke out, Asha Devi, Nirbhaya’s mother expressed her gratitude and said, “the news is like an ointment to my wounds that have been hurting her since 2012. I have been shouting for 7 years, punish the culprits even if it needs to be done by breaking laws and then see how the society changes for good.”

"Her parents must be relieved now that justice has been served to their daughter. A sense of fear will develop among the perpetrators of such heinous crimes," she further added.

She thanked the police and said that at least one daughter has got the justice. From past 7 years, Nirbhaya’s mother has been taking rounds of the court and has not got justice till date and December 13 is yet another date allotted to her by the judge for a Nirbhaya rape case.
