Gurugram: Shame! 39-year-old drunk father raped minor daughter after fight with wife

In a shameful act, a father allegedly raped his minor daughter in Gurugram’s DLF 3 area. According to reports, the 39-year-old accused, who is a driver raped his 13-year-old daughter after a fight with his wife. The accused has been booked under Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for his heinous crime at the DLF 3 police station.

According to a report in India Today, the mother of the rape survivor filed a complaint against him on Thursday evening. The accused who is absconding is a driver while his wife works as domestic help. The family hails from Palwal.

"On April 19, he came home in an inebriated state and we had a fight. He hit my head with a bottle, but I escaped with an injury. He went to the terrace in a rage and later asked my daughter to serve him dinner. The next morning, my daughter told me that he had raped her. I confronted him but he ran away," the mother told the police.

"I tried calling him multiple times but he did not receive my calls. On Thursday, I called him again but he started threatening me, saying that he will assault our daughter again. So, finally, I moved police," the mother said in her complaint.

"The girl told her mother about the rape on April 20, but her mother filed a complaint on Thursday evening. An FIR has been registered and the girl was rushed to the General Hospital in Civil Lines for a medical examination, where doctors confirmed the rape," said inspector Ram Kumar, the SHO of the DLF 3 police station.
