
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Ram Naresh Yadav passed away at the age of 90 on 22 November in Lucknow after a prolonged illness.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Public Relations and Water Resources Minister, Narottam Mishra have expressed grief over the demise of Yadav.

Yadav also served as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh from 1977 to 1979. The veteran Congress leader was also the Governor of Madhya Pradesh from 26 August 2011 to 7 September 2016.
Yadav also came into the limelight for his alleged role in the multi-crore Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam (Vyapam scam).
