Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj passed away late Tuesday after suffering a heart attack. She breathed her last in AIIMS hospital where she was admitted at 10:15 pm after complaining of pain.

Swaraj was known for her work done for people across the country and those Indians who were in trouble across the globe.

This is sudden and shocking news for our nation and as soon as this news spread all politicians from various parties started paying their visit at AIIMS, Delhi.

PM Modi shared a heartfelt note on his Twitter handle which read, "She will be remembered fondly for everything that she’s done for India. My thoughts are with her family, supporters and admirers in this very unfortunate hour. Om Shanti."

Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad also expressed his grief, he said Swaraj was like his sister and they always addressed each other as brother and sister whenever they met. He added she was a strong lady and always ready to serve her country.

Her last twitter post was about thanking PM Modi on his major move on Jammu-Kashmir by scrapping of Article 370.
