A series of photographs of a senior police officer posted in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur, sitting on the knees and hands joint in front of UP CM Yogi Adityanath and seeking blessings has been making a row. These photos have become the centre of discussion at this time. Many questions have been raised after the photographs being viral on social media. CM Yogi Adityanath is also the head priest of the influential Gorakhnath temple in the town in front of whom the cop in uniform was kneeled down.

The officer named Praveen Kumar Singh is himself seen kneeling down in front of the Chief Minister with folded hands in the photographs. In another photograph, the officer can be seen applying a tilak on Adityanath's forehead. A third photograph shows the police officer garlanding the Chief Minister. The photos are of Friday when on the occasion of Guru Purnima, he went to Yogi Aditya Nath seeking blessings.
