Encounter underway as militants attack BSF camp in Kupwara injuring 3 soldiers

Three BSF jawans and a porter were left injured after a fresh encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists on 19 August in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports, the gunbattle is still going on between security forces and militants.
The injured are now being airlifted and rushed to the Army base hospital in Srinagar. Additional security forces have also been deployed to neutralise the terrorists.
The terrorists reportedly attacked the BSP base camp in Karnah area of Kupwara district.
Police sources told PTI that the camp, located in Nachin village, was targeted by the militantsas it houses an ammunition depot.
