Severe earthquake tremors were felt at around 9 in the evening in Delhi-NCR. Everything was moving for a while. After this people understood that the earthquake has come. According to the Meteorological Department, the center of the earthquake was in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand, about 121 km east of Dehradun. The intensity of earthquake has been assessed at 5.5 on the Richter scale. According to the Meteorological Department, earthquake was recorded at 8.00 pm in the evening. Earthquake shocks were felt in UP-Haryana including Uttarakhand's Dehradun, Roorkee. So far there is no information about the loss of life or property of any kind of earthquake.

Uttarakhand comes in an area which is more prone to earthquake. It falls in the Himalayan region. People came out of their homes when earthquake felt in Delhi-NCR.


Some people shared their experiences on social media. In the last 24 hours this is the second earthquake in Uttarakhand. Even on Tuesday, there was a 3.3-magnitude earthquake. According to the News Agency ANI, the center of the earthquake was in the depth of 30 kilometers.
