Delhi: Fire breaks out at Sadar Bazaar; no casualties reported

A fire broke out in Sadar Bazaar, one of the largest wholesale market in Delhi on 23 November.

According to initial reports, 9 fire tenders have been rushed to the hospital and currently making efforts to douse the raging flames. The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained. There are no reports of casualties as yet.

The situation is now said to be under control.

This comes days after a number of houses were gutted after a huge fire broke out in the slum areas near Sadar Bazar late on 7 November. Locals present there alleged that the fire was sparked a cylinder blast.
