As less than ten days are left for the Lok Sabha election, Congress party has announced its poll manifesto and promised a new approach for the youths, farmers and womens but the BJP has taken a dig, claiming ‘it’s a dangerous manifesto for India.’

As Congress announced to amend the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA), Arun Jaitley alleged “Even though there was a drafting committee, but it appears that some of the important points have been drafted by the Congress President's friends in 'Tukde Tukde gang' when it deals with Jammu & Kashmir.”

Terming it divisive manifesto, Jaitley further said, “This manifesto has ideas which would divide India.”

Rahul Gandhi, along with other big functionaries of the Congress announced the Manifesto, titled ‘We Will deliver.’

Rahul Gandhi, while announcing the manifesto said, “The manifesto is a massive step for Congress. When we started this process a year back, I told them that this manifesto should reflect the wishes of the people and whatever is present in the document should be truthful.”

Now, targeting the jobs and unemployment issue which have been raised by the Opposition and other youths, the Congress party in its manifesto said, “Unemployment is the gravest challenge to the country and job creation is the highest priority for the economy. In the last five years, there has been a dramatic rise in unemployment. Today, unemployment is touching a 45-year high of 6.1 per cent according to the government’s own figures.”
