Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has once again demonstrated his commitment to humanitarian causes, as he halted his convoy on the Nagpur-Amravati road to aid an injured individual on a Sunday. The Chief Minister's swift action involved arranging for an ambulance from his convoy to ensure the injured person received prompt medical attention.

A History of Compassion

This is not the first time Shinde has shown compassion in the face of emergencies. On September 13, he displayed quick thinking when he encountered a burning vehicle on Mumbai's Western Express Highway. Despite the potential risks, Shinde stopped his convoy to extend assistance to the unharmed but distressed driver.

In a separate incident in July, Shinde played a pivotal role in facilitating medical assistance for a patient from Nashik. Not only did he provide an ambulance from his fleet, but he also halted his convoy to aid a patient stranded due to a breakdown of their ambulance on the Chunabhatti-Kurla highway.

Responding to Tragedy

In the most recent turn of events, Chief Minister Shinde visited the site of a tragic explosion at Solar Industries in Nagpur. This explosion resulted in the loss of nine lives at the factory of a solar explosive company. Shinde, deeply affected by the incident, promptly inspected the situation.

"The Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the accident site of Solar Explosive Company at Bazargaon near Nagpur and inspected the incident site. Nine workers have died in this morning's terrible explosion at this company. Taking cognizance of this incident, the Chief Minister has announced an aid of five lakh rupees to the families of the deceased in the morning," reported the Chief Minister's Office.
