Bulandshahr Violence: UP police releases photo of 18 accuse in cow slaughter protest; assets to be seized

In the Bulandshahr violence case, the district police have released photographs of 18 absconding accused. The police also state to seize the movable assets of these accused. The name of the main accused Yogesh Raj is also named in this 18 accused list. Accused Raj is still on run. Earlier, on Thursday, a local court issued non-bailable warrants against all the accused including Yogesh Raj in this case.

Speaking to ANI, Prabhakar Chaudhary, SSP Bulandshahr said, "SIT is investigating the incident in Sayana, some accused have been jailed and a non-bailable warrant has been issued against them. We are trying to arrest those who are absconding. If they do not get caught soon, we will declare rewards reward on them.'


On 3rd December, the police inspector Subodh Kumar Singh and Sumit Singh of Chingravathi village died in the mob violence against cow slaughtering in the village. The crowd was furious about alleged Gokshi in Chingravati area of Sayana area.

Jitendra alias Jitu Fauzi, arrested in connection with the murder case of Sub-Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh, is still in judicial custody. Jitu fauzi is part of the National Rifles and is stationed in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. The day when violence took place in Shyana, he came home on vacation. After the violence, he went back to duty. During the violence, Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh was seen by a young man, who was identified by police as Jitu Army.
