Bihar Forest and Environment Minister Tej Pratap Yadav has registered an FIR against theft at his official residence in Patna. He alleged that the folk artists, who were called to perform during the Holi festival, stole costly items from his official residence.

Yadav’s assistant M Sinha registered an FIR at the Sachivalaya police station on March 10, alleging that artists carried out the theft on March 9.

Notably, the artists came from Vrindavan to perform for the festival.

Further details are awaited.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into the land-for-job scam is underway.

On Friday, ED raided Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav’s Delhi residence and questioned him for 11 hours. The action comes days after CBI officials questioned Lalu Prasad, his wife Rabri Devi in connection with the case.

Yesterday, ED seized Rs 1 crore of unaccounted during raids at Lalu Prasad's family. Another Rs 600 crore in proceeds of crime have been detected in the raids while an investigation is underway to unearth more investments.
