CCTV footage reveals suspects leaving drum at station

Bengaluru: The discovery of an unidentified woman's body inside a plastic drum at Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) in Baiyappanahalli has sparked a police investigation. The victim, believed to be between the ages of 31-35, was reportedly brought to the station by three individuals in an auto-rickshaw.

CCTV footage reveals suspects leaving drum at station
Authorities say that the three suspects were captured on CCTV footage, which is currently being examined by police. The video allegedly shows the trio carrying the drum and leaving it at the railway station. Railway SP Soumyalata visited the incident site to assess the situation.


Police launch investigation
The discovery of the woman's body has prompted an investigation by local law enforcement. Officers are currently reviewing the CCTV footage in an attempt to identify and locate the individuals who left the plastic drum at the station. This incident comes just months after a similar incident in which the body of another woman, also aged between 31-35, was found at Yeshavantpur railway station in Bengaluru.
