Ayodhya hearing adjourned after Justice UU Lalit walks out from the case; new bench to be constituted on 29 Jan

Ayodhya case hearing adjourned after Justice UU Lalit recuses himself from hearing the matter, saying he doesn't want to be part of the bench. A new bench to be constituted for the Ayodhya-Ram Temple case. Supreme Court fixes January 29 as the next date of hearing. Justice UU Lalit walked out of the case saying that he was a lawyer in Ram Temple case so he doesn't to members of the Constitution Bench.

Supreme Court registry will need to give a report on by when will all documents be translated and the case is ready for hearing, reported news agency ANI.


As soon the hearing in the Supreme Court started, CJI Ranjan Gogoi said, 'no hearing today, only date and schedule to be decided' however, the court hearing on the case was adjourned after the top judge exit.
