Assembly Elections 2018 results: Sonia Gandhi expresses joy on Congress victory; calls its defeat of BJP's negative politics

Sonia Gandhi, Congress Chairperson on Wednesday unfolded her happiness over Congress victory in the 2018 assembly election-- 2019 semi final, in three Hindi spoke langugae states. She called the grand old party's victory, a win over the BJP's "negative politics".
Sonia Gandhi's reaction comes a day after the Congress ousted BJP governments from all the three Hindi heartland states, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Expressing happiness over the polls outcome, the UPA chairperson said it was a "Congress victory over the BJP's negative politics".
In 2019 semi finale Congress won in states, Rajasthan and stake claims in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to form government after Mayawati's BSP extended its support.
