People eagerly wait for Diwali every year to dress up, eat sweets and have some awesome time with family and friends.

Wearing traditional dresses can never go wrong as this is the time of the year when a person can flaunt the ethnic wear like saree, kurti, salwar kameez etc.

And here are few designer wear options straight from the recently concluded India Runway Week 2017 edition.

To choose from ramp, you can surely go with brand Shree, who showcased their festive collection - Svarna, which was mainly about richness of gold block printing and bold designs.

The collection is all about ethnicity in an all new-look by experimenting with profound details and trim.

Another option is Indian August collection, Pearly shades of old rose pink, off-white, ecru and oyster create a mesmerising look.

The collection has usage of delicate hand embroidery and block print, imitating Jamdani weave that further enhances the value, grace and grandeur of the collection.

These are the few names of designers from which you can choose your festive formals for next few days of office.

Designer Varija Bajaj focuses on deep colours, subtle textures, understate bling, mix and match of material to enhance.

Purvi Roy's LA-STYLISTE collection was Quirky festive formal wear.

Then Vintage era inspired gowns by Nikhiel & Ravindra.

Paksh by Sudhir Nayak, the silhouette simple lines and geometric forms focus on repetitive shapes and multilevel lines. A stylish clash of structured outlines and soft curves adds feminine flare combined with clean straight tailoring.

Jewellery is another item that accentuates the overall look.

One should choose jewellery wisely.

There were two option of jewellery designers - The Avra Chic by Shalini Bisht collection was all about energy, rhythm, liveliness, madness, colours, happiness and celebration.

The other collection was by Akash K Aggarwal Jewellery taking motif inspiration from the symbolism of Old Tribal Indian art of Dokra, Koftgari, Bidri, Meenakari, Peroi with Jadau fine techniques in filigree motif, stamped light weight metal sheet work, embossed 3D and metallic gold & Silver with emeralds, rubies, sapphire, pearls and much more multicolour gemstones from Indian colour pallet.

After witnessing the new look from Season 9 of India Runway Week, here's another suggestion, keep that makeup light makeup and you should avoid overdoing.
