Self-styled godman Asaram Bapu has been listed under the category of 'great saints' in a class 3 moral science books in Jodhpur schools.
The books are published by Delhi-based 'Gurukul Prakashan' and they claim that they have followed guidelines of NCERT. Asaram shares the space alongside Mother Teresa, Swami Vivekananda and Guru Nanak in the book.

Asaram is currently kept in Jodhpur jail since September 2013 for allegedly raping two sisters in his Surat ashram.
Jodhpur education department has said that they were oblivious to the entire matter. The issue is expected to spark outrage as it is extremely crucial because young children are involved.
