Former Divas Champion Paige announces her retirement post neck injury: Watch some of her best fights

It was quite evident that this moment was coming. Last year December after Paige’s injury she was removed from most of the fights and there were rumours of her retirement.

Her emotional speech touched audiences heart and many were seen crying and calling out her name.

Thanking all the women wrestlers and Daniel Bryan the 25-year-old said she made her debut at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans and deliberately chose to announce her retirement in the same place where she started her career.

While she was leaving the ring there came a chanting of  “This is your house!” and she looked towards the audiences and teary-eyed Paige agreed, “This will always be my house.”

The 25-year-old former Divas Champion did not fight in the first women's Royal Rumble match that happened on January 28.

Describing it the biggest miss of her life, she said, " It was hard to sit on the sidelines at Wrestlemania 34."

Before leaving the ring in an emotional address, she said that her heart, her soul and her blood is for the ring.

She also accepted that because of her neck injuries, she can no longer perform and this was the hardest reality which she needs to accept.
