In a shocking incident of crime against women, the foster parents of a 17-year-old were booked for allegedly sexually exploiting her, police said on Thursday.

Bhopa police station’s SHO Raj Kumar Rana stated that a case was lodged on Wednesday against the accused for rape and human trafficking. The minor victim was rescued by an NGO on 25th September.

In the time of the investigation, the girl was medically examined - in which she was discovered to be sexually exploited.

The minor victim was found near a canal around mid-September in a senseless condition, following which she was given medical attention and sent back to her foster parents on 25th September by the NGO.

However, after a police complaint was registered, the NGO members squared up to both her foster guardians and rescued her. Currently, the victim is lodged in a shelter home.

The minor victim's biological father passed away and her mother, who tied the knot with another man and moved to a new place, could not be tracked down.

In another incident, a 15-year-old student of Kendriya Vidyalaya Refinery Nagar in Mathura was allegedly murdered and his face disfigured by unknown person, police said on Friday.

Police found the victim's dead body on Thursday in a bush close to the railway track passing close to Baad village of Refinery police station.

According to police, the assailants after killing the 15-year-old disfigured his face by smashing it with a stone.

The father of the victim had registered a missing person report in the Refinery police station on Wednesday.

A case of murder and causing disappearing of evidence was filed under sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh said.

The forensic team has taken key information from blood-stained clothes, stone, and recorded the autopsy, he said.

Police form a theory that since the mobile phone of the deceased victim was not recovered from the crime spot, it was likely taken by the assailants to cover their tracks.

Five police teams have been set-up to find an answer to the case, the SP said, further adding that the person responsible will soon be traced and arrested.
