UP horror: Boy rapes three-year-old girl after showing her obscene video

A 13-year-old boy allegedly raped a three-year-old girl after showing her an obscene clip on Sunday. The horrifying incident took place in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district. The victim's parents registered an FIR on Monday and the accused has been taken into police custody. The victim has been taken to a hospital for medical attention.

According to the police complaint registered by the victim’s parents, her father had gone to work, while she and her mother stayed at home on Sunday. In the evening, the teen son of the neighbour enticed the minor victim to his house where he was all alone, the complaint said.

"The boy played a smutty video clip on a mobile phone and raped my daughter. When her condition worsened, he dumped her outside my home," the police complaint was quoted in a Times of India report.

When the victim’s mother found the girl, she saw that she was bleeding from her genitals, according to the complaint. The mother informed the girl's grandparents, who caught the boy and beat him up.

In the meantime, the victim was taken to a clinic for treatment and brought home in the evening. Later, the victim's condition aggravated. On Monday, after the police was notified, they took her to the community health centre. Currently, the victim is undergoing treatment at Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital.

Bidhnoo police station, SHO Atul Kumar Singh stated, "A case has been registered on the complaint of the girl's father and the accused juvenile has been detained. He will be sent to the correction home after all legal formalities."
