Shocker: Pregnant woman raped, forcibly married by two men in Rajasthan

In a gruesome incident, a pregnant woman from Assam was allegedly sedated, raped, and forcibly wedded in Rajasthan.

The incident came to light when the victim, who is a native of Assam, approached the police and narrated her ordeal.


According to the timesnownews.com report, the woman is said to be six-month pregnant.

Allegedly, she was abducted from Assam with her three-year-old daughter. The accused men forced her to drink that had been spiked with sedatives.

Then, the two accused men took the woman to Rajasthan where she was allegedly forced to marry one of the accused. After the woman got married, she was taken to the Panchgaon village in Karveer tehsil where the accused stayed with her.

Woman narrated ordeal to cops:

The woman alleged that the two accused men threatened to murder her daughter when she refused to fulfill their demands, The Times of India reported. She further told that the accused forced her to have physical relations with three other men.

On Sunday night, the victim managed to escape and approached the police station to lodge a complaint. The woman also alleged that a woman also helped the accused in trapping her.

After the complaint, the police have arrested the accused men and were also presented before the local court. The court has remanded the accused in 5-day custody.

Meanwhile, further investigation is underway.
