Minor girl asks UP police to register her molestation complaint; cop gives shameful reply

A shocking and shameful incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur where a 16-year-old girl has accused a cop of harassing her. The incident took place at Kakadeo Police Station where the minor went to register a molestation complaint.

The victim told the reporters that the cop instead of lodging her complaint said, “she is not that beautiful that one would harass her.”


Girl molested by local goon, tear off her clothes

The victim who stays with her maternal grandmother in Kakadeo after her parents passed away was molested by a local goon on 15th June. The goon along with his associates forcefully entered into her house poured liquor on her and then tore off her clothes. On hearing her screams, the locals rushed to help and rescued her from the goons.

Harassed by cops

Later, she approached police for help and to file the complaint against the goons, however, instead of filing the complaint the officer allegedly told her that she wasn’t beautiful enough to be sexually harassed, as per TimesNow reports.

Kanpur Police denies the allegation

As per TimesNow reports, Kanpur Police have rubbished the allegations made by the minor against the Kakadeo police officer and said that it's baseless and untrue. They have filed a case under Sections 323,504 and 506 of IPC on the bases of girl’s complaints and they have arrested and sent two accused involved in the crime to jail.
