Gujarat: Man slaps girlfriend 15 times after she ends relationship

In a shocking case, a 24-year-old woman accused her ex-beau of slapping her around 15 times after she ended her relationship with him.

The incident has been reported in Gujarat. According to a report in Ahmedabad Mirror, the woman, identified as Rani (name changed), works as a clerk at the public sector bank, a native of Ganganagar in Rajasthan.


In her police complaint, she alleged on Thursday that after office, she was waiting for a bus at the bus stand when her former colleague and ex-lover, Umesh (name changed) a resident from Gandhinagar approached her.

She further added that she sat pillion on her ex-lover’s motorcycle and he drove to gate number 2 of riverfront garden on the easter part of the riverfront.

The victim also said that while talking, Umesh asked her the reason for not taking his calls. Rani said that she doesn’t want to continue their relationship. This led to a fight between the two and Umesh allegedly slapped Rani.

In her complaint, the 24-year-old woman alleged that Umesh slapped her 15 times, abused her, and even threatened to kill her.

Later, he dropped her off at her residence. After this, Rani approached the police commissioner’s office and filed a complaint against Umesh with Riverfront (East) police station.
