Bengaluru man finds daughter’s paramour at home, bludgeons him to death

In a horrifying incident reported from Karnataka’s Bengaluru, a 19-year-old youth died following an assault with a wooden log by his girlfriend’s father, aged 46, the accused father, identified as Narayan, was taken into police custody on Saturday.

The accused, an auto-rickshaw driver by profession, is a native of Vinobha Nagar. His daughter, who is a school dropout, was in a relationship with their neighbour Nivesh Kumar, aged 19. Narayan, however, was against her affair with the boy, as per a report in the Indian Express.


On 28th November, the accused left for work in the morning, after which the victim (Kumar) came to his residence to meet his daughter.

However, the accused, came back home suddenly. He flew into anger when he saw Kumar at his abode. He physically assaulted the victim with a wooden log. Later, the victim was rushed to a hospital, but succumbed to his injuries, the police said.

This incident comes weeks after a 40-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife to death at their house in Bengaluru. The accused, identified as BR Kantharaju, suspected that his wife, identified as Roopa HG, was having an illicit relationships with her two male family members.

His suspicion intensified when he saw his wife dancing with the two males during a family holiday, as per reports. An argument sparked between the couple over the issue. The accused, in fury stabbed his wife to death.
