Royal couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reveal what they want as their wedding gift

The royal couple Meghan and Harry has announced their wedding gift. Everyone knows that the couple is philanthropic, the couple will marry on May 19, 2018 at Windsor Castle in England.

Kensington Palace announced, "Prince Harry & Ms. Meghan Markle are incredibly grateful for the goodwill they have received since their engagement, and have asked that anyone who might wish to mark the occasion of their wedding considers giving to charity, instead of sending a gift."

The Palace also informed that the couple has picked up seven charities for the donation. The charities will "represent a range of issues that they are passionate about, including sport for social change, women's empowerment, conservation, the environment, homelessness, HIV and the Armed Forces."

The seven organizations are:

CHIVA, the organisation supports children and their families living with HIV across the UK and Ireland. The organisation also addresses critical needs of HIV.

Crisis, is the UK based charity which provides help for single homeless people. The organisation also works in areas such as education, employment, housing and well-being services from centres in London, Newcastle, Oxford, Edinburgh and Merseyside, called Crisis Skylight Centres.

Myna Mahalia Foundation, encourages women to voice out their opinion about the issues everyone is afraid to discuss, like the chatty Myna bird. Meghan Markle has worked with this organisation before where she spoke about the period stigma. She also met the several women in Mumbai who are affected because of the period stigma.

Scotty's Little Soldiers, the charity supports children who have lost a parent while serving in the British Armed Forces.

StreetGames, "uses sport to empower young people to kick-start a cycle of positive change in their own lives," according to the Palace. Harry and Meghan got to meet with members and volunteers of the charity during their visit to Cardiff, Wales this year.

Surfers Against Sewage, a national marine conservation charity that encourages communities to protect oceans, beaches, wildlife and more.

The Wilderness Foundation UK, which promotes activity in and the conservation of the great outdoors. Prince Harry previously worked with the organization in September 2017.

In 2011, more than £1m was raised when Prince William and Kate Middleton asked the public to donate.
