It's official! Priyanka Chopra to play the baddie in Dwayne Johnson's Baywatch

After bagging the People's Choice Award for Best Actress in a New TV Series, Priyanka Chopra is now all set for a major Hollywood debut.

Though reports speculating Priyanka's possible role in Baywatch have been making rounds for a while, the good news is finally confirmed. Chopra will play the negative role in the film starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Zac Efron.

The writers of Baywatch, Shannon and Swift, took to Twitter to confirm the news,

"We're lucky to have her! Tonight I learned that @priyankachopra has a ton of cool fans who really support her. Pretty amazing to see. #Baywatch."

Scheduling conflicts with the film's shoot and Quantico still need to be worked out. The movie directed by Seth Gordon is expected to go on floors soon.
