In pics: Priyanka Chopra dazzles in off-white Zuhair Murad gown at Oscars 2016

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra walked the red carpet of the 88th Academy Awards for the very first time on 28 February.

Wearing a Zuhair Murad off-white creation, the Quantico star opted for a low-key glamour look. A sleek, low ponytail, a ruby-coloured box clutch and diamonds completed her look for the evening.

While many of Priyanka's Indian fans were hoping that she would wear a saree to the event, her outfit of choice seems to have gone down well with her fans.

The actress wore a black, low-cut jumpsuit to the Oscars pre-party and there was intense speculation over her first big Oscar appearance. And Priyanka, as always, did not disappoint.
