“When you try and take a sexy selfie and realize it looks like you ate sand for lunch #sandstache,” wrote Simpson, who snapped a photograph of herself lying down on the beach.

She also posted a picture of her husband Johnson and captioned it as, “Babe Alert". The couple was walking on the beach and held surfboard in hand.

Last month, the designer went to Nashville to promote her Dillard’s line, Jessica Simpson Collection. She also met dozens of Army wives and daughters from the Fort Campbell installation.

She also provided hair and makeup services to the Army wives and daughters and outfitted them in her latest collection. Later, the Army wives walked in a fasgion show, in honor of the Month of the Military Child, which is observed every April.
