Deepika's last minute goal help India pip China 2-1 to lift Women's Asian Champions Trophy

India on 5 November, beat China 2-1, in he last minutes of the game to win the 4th Women's Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament in Singapore.

It was Deep Grace Ekka's goal in the 13 minute which put India in he lead, however, China levelled the score when Zhong Mengling found the back of the net in the 44th minute.

Throughout the tournament, India were unbeaten before they lost to China 2-3 in their final league contest. China occupied the top spot of the standings but India exacted sweet revenge with a win in the final.

The forth quarter of the game saw both teams fight hard to win the championship. However, it was in the last 20 seccods of the game, when Deepika found the net with a rasping shot after finding the rebound from the penalty corner .

Last Sunday, Indian beat Pakistan 3-2 to reclaim the Men's Asian Champions trophy.
