Former Chelsea and Newcastle striker Demba Ba broke his leg while playing in the Chinese Super League on 17 July.
While playing for Shanghai Shenhua in their local clash against rivals Shanghai SIPG, the Senegal star snapped the lower half of his right leg following a challenge with SIPG captain and defender Sun Xiang in the 64th minute.
The 31-year-old striker may have suffered a potentially career-ending injury during the match.
He was caught on camera colliding with Xiang before collapsing as his leg twists away from his body.

The Senegalese talisman scored 14 goals in 18 appearances and is the top scorer in the Chinese Super League. The full extent of the injury is yet to be known.
